How Much Weight Could I Lose On Nutrisystem In About 4 (Four) Weeks Or A Month?

by ava alderman:  I recently heard from a woman who was attending an outdoor pool party for her office in about five weeks.  She hoped to make an impression on a male coworker.  But she was very nervous about this since the occasion meant revealing clothing that she wasn’t comfortable wearing at the present time.  So, this gave her about a month to start a diet and hopefully to change her body enough so that she would feel comfortable in a bathing suit.  She felt like she had around 15 pounds to lose.  She wanted to know how much weight was possible to lose after around 4 -5 weeks on nutrisystem  ( or about a month – as this was one of the diets that she was considering.)  She very much liked the fact that she could eat normal type of foods like wraps, pizza, and macaroni and cheese.  But she wanted to make sure that the diet was going to be effective enough.  She hoped so, because she didn’t want to resort to a liquid type diet where she was relegated to shakes all of the time. She asked “how much weight can I really lose after about a month on nutrisystem? What is realistic?”

Well, the answer to that is pretty individual for every one, but nutrisystem themselves offer a 2 -3 pound per week range or guideline.  If she was on the higher end of that range (which in my view isn’t really asking a lot) she would meet her 15 pound weight loss in one month.  With that said, I know some who have done a little better and some who haven’t quite reached the high end.

If you want to SAFELY lose the most weight that you can on nutrisystem in a month, I’d recommend carefully monitoring your side items to ensure that aren’t adding in something that has too many calories or carbs.  And I don’t think you need to go crazy with exercise.  Your body may well go into ketosis where it is burning fat since you have limited your carbs.  That means your body is going to be working hard to burn fat.  While moderate exercise is fine, you don’t want to make your body work too hard.  You also don’t want veer off of the guidelines too far.  You want to eat all five meals because believe it or not, you not to eat often enough to maintain fuel.

With all of this said, I believe that her 15 pounds in about a month was certainly attainable.  And even if she fell short, she would probably get very close and would still see a dramatic change in how she looked in a bathing suit.  I am just trying to be realistic.  Many diets promise dramatic results but don’t deliver.  But 2 -3 pounds per week is very doable for most.
